Reminder: NPIE 7 – THIRD AND FINAL CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: DEADLINE 31 MARCH 2022 

NPIE 7 will be held at University College Cork, Ireland from Wednesday June 8 2022 to Friday June 10 2022 in Western Gateway Building, G 15. Plan B will be to go online should travel be affected by pandemic restrictions.  

NPIE 7 welcomes contributions on any and all aspects of varieties of English and Scots in the island of Ireland, and their diasporas. Research-based papers should be 20 minutes in length, and will be followed by ten minutes of discussion. Please submit an abstract with references to Nicola Bessell (n.bessell@ucc.ie ) by 31 March 2022. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Notification of acceptance will be issued by 14 April 2022.  Abstracts should be a Word document of no more than 300 words (excluding references).
