13th International Conference of the Forum for Research on the Languages of Scotland and Ulster (FRLSU 2021): The conference is fully online and will be held at the Ludwig-Maximil Munich, 28–30 October 2021 (cf. https://www.frlsu2021.anglistik.uni-muenchen.de/index.html). Abstracts can be submitted until 31 May 2021, midnight CET, via EasyAbs (http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/frlsu2021). Papers are welcome on any of the languages and varieties spoken, signed or written in Scotland or the nine counties of Ulster, from any linguistic perspective, modern or historical. The thematic focus of this year’s conference is on the languages of Scotland and Ulster in a global context, past and present.
EFACIS 2021: Interfaces and Dialogues is the upcoming conference of the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS).
The conference will be held in Centre for Irish Studies, Charles University, Prag, 1-4 September 2021. Remote participation is also possible.
