Irish Studies Würzburg (ISWÜ) at the University of Würzburg in Germany invites applications for the
position of Visiting Professor in Irish Studies in the Faculty of the Humanities (English and American Studies) for the period of 1 October 2023 – 31 March 2024.

The Visiting Professor in Irish Studies is a joint initiative of the Government of Ireland, the Irish
Embassy in Berlin, the University of Würzburg and Irish Studies Würzburg (ISWÜ). It is funded by the
Irish Government’s Emigrant Support Programme (ESP).
